Brian Leonard’s award-winning career covers a wide swath, writing for BBC Radio (‘The Treatment’), ABCNews (Sam Donaldson’s webcast of the Webby Awards), ‘World Business Review’ (hosted by Caspar Weinberger), NBC (America’s Talking) and Sony Entertainment (PlayStation). He’s also had an animated series (‘Silicon Valley’ –no relation to the HBO series) optioned by Universal Television and served as a story consultant for Pixar. Brian began working in radio, then co-hosted a TV comedy show before he shifted his focus to work on stage and in front of the camera. In the 1980’s and 1990’s Brian had a successful career as a stand-up comic, appearing on numerous TV shows, such as Evening at the Improv, and Comic Strip Live. The San Jose Mercury News says that Brian is “…one of San Francisco’s most intelligent and funniest comedians.” When he was offered the opportunity to supply all the content for a new USWest interactive channel, Brian shifted away from performing to concentrating on writing. This eventually led to his moving behind the camera and directing commercials and corporate videos. Today, Brian is happy telling stories as he writes, directs, and oversees creative for some of the most interesting and exciting companies in the world.
